How the X profile analyzer works

Type a public X handle and the analyzer loads its most recent posts, from 20 up to 100, and works out how they performed. It separates original posts from replies and reposts, so the benchmarks reflect what the account actually wrote. Every number is computed in your browser from the public post data. The analyzer keeps no account, asks for no login and stores nothing on a server.

What the main numbers mean

Pair the analyzer with the best time to post checker to test when your audience is most active.

X profile analyzer FAQ

Is the X profile analyzer free?

Yes. It is free, needs no signup or login, and has no paywall.

Do I need to connect my X account?

No. The analyzer reads the public posts of the handle you enter. It never asks for your password or access to your account.

How is engagement rate calculated?

For each original post, engagement rate is likes, reposts, replies, quotes and bookmarks divided by views. The analyzer shows the median across posts, so one viral post does not skew the result, and also shows the aggregate rate.

How many posts does it analyze?

You choose 20, 40, 60, 80 or 100 of the most recent posts. Replies and reposts are counted separately, and benchmarks use original posts only.

What is a breakout post?

A breakout post is an original post with at least three times the account's median view count. Those posts are the best place to look for what is working.

Why are some views or bookmark counts zero or missing?

The analyzer uses the public post data it receives. Some posts do not return view or bookmark counts, so rates based on those fields can show as zero or as a dash.

Can I analyze any account?

You can analyze any public account. Private accounts cannot be read, because their posts are not public.

Are the best posting times accurate?

They are based on the account's own recent original posts, shown in your local time. Small samples are noisy, so treat them as a direction to test rather than a fixed schedule.
